Stallion Information
______________________________________________________________________
Stallions are animals with great dignity and a firm standing of what is non-respectful treatment.
They need to be handled by people who are very confident and experienced in horsemanship who are not afraid of them and understand their mentality.
Because they usually spend most of their lives separated from their own kind they need even more attention then other horses.
The stallion needs to see the person who is handling them as a step higher in status then they are or they will not respect you. That means you cannot under any circumstances let them physically move you by any means or intimitate you. You must establish "Rules, Boundaries & Limitations" and be consistant using them at all times. This does not mean you treat them unjustly because stallions have a very fine line of what is just and fair and will not tolerate harsh treatment. This is why they so very often get labeled aggressive and dangerous because so many people do not understand them.
Once you understand how they see you and how you fit into their world you will be able to develop a relationship of trust, understanding, safety, love and most importantly RESPECT between you.
The essence, energy, fire and strength of a stallion is one of the most magnficent wonders you will ever behold.
