As kennel manager of an up and coming canine boarding and daycare facility, I felt that a certification course in pet first aid would be a very practical addition to my credentials and for my kennel attendants as well.  The majority of the staff signed up for the full day course to ensure that we covered not only basic topics, but specifics like senior and geriatric care, special needs and dental care.  The class was very informative and quite enjoyable. In fact, after almost three months, my staff still talks about some of the things they learned and how much they enjoyed the layout of the course.   Diane was very open to questions and flexible with subjects that sometimes veered off topic a bit.  She has such a broad knowledge base that we found ourselves asking and talking about other aspects of pet care such as diet, alternative therapies, and training techniques. 

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who owns a pet or is involved with animals professionally or recreationally.  One of the attendees in my class was already certified through a longer course at a junior college, but she was amazed at the things Diane covered and explained that she had not learned through the other course.  I myself have worked as a veterinary technician with both small and large practitioners, and I am very glad to have been involved with Diane’s PetTech course.
