    Sadira came into my life on August 1st, 2009 while  
   I was attending "Critter Fest" in Colorado Springs.
   Colorado  Peke & Pom Rescue had a booth right   
   in front of mine and it was love at first sight for both  
   Sadira and me. Sadira made it quite clear to 
   everyone that she had picked me. 

   She is absolutely the "Jewel of the Tree" as is the 
   meaning of her  name. We love her very, very much.
   She loves everyone she meets and helps me daily in 
   my work with animals and their owners. She is a calm, 
   balanced pack member showing other dogs I work with,
   how to become balanced and  stable by her examples.

She   shows humans how to be a calm, assertive pack leader by letting them experience what it is like to have a balanced, centered dog by their side, allowing the humans to find their confidence and inner strengths. She assists me in my Pet, CPR,First-Aid classes helping to demonstrate several parts of the class. She always knows instinctively what I need her to do and never once have I had to ask her, because she is usually already doing what I need even before I think it.   

Sadira is my constant companion and goes everywhere with me. Tomato, Razzi, Coconut and Flower accepted her right away without hardy a twitch of a whisker. Its as if she has always been with us. People have commented from the first day I got her how bonded with are and they are amazed when I tell them that she has been with me for such a short time.  It seems more like a lifetime.

There are times when you just know when an animal is meant to be with you. There is an unmistakable sense of belonging.

I look forward to sharing our stories and photo's with everyone in the years to come. Sadira says to tell everyone she wishes you lots of love and kisses.
