Horse Training & Riding Lessons
Diane is certified an experienced respectful horse trainer where "The Welfare of The Horse Always Comes First". She focuses on teaching the horse from the ground up to saddle using patient & gentle training. She also gives riding lessons to help riders improve their skills through "Feel", focus, balance, centering and using calm energy. She teaches the 20/80 riding method which is 20% hand aids and 80% leg aids. She also helps riders that need their confidence restored. Diane teaches how to use effective communication through giving clear aids, establishing herd leadership and understanding of the horse's own nature and language to develop strong lasting, safe relationships of trust and respect between the horse and owner. She teaches why it is so important to "Think Like a Horse." (see "Why Think Like a Horse?" for more info) and why we need to treat each horse like an individual and not fit them into the box of a 30 day wonder. Not all people learn, understand, progress and comprend at the same rate and neither do horses and other animals and this is where just one aspect of respect comes into play with our relationships with horses. We need to respect each horses timeline of learning which allows for a solid foundation on which to build and grow love and respect between us.

Diane's objectives
To make the world a better place for horses and all animals through teaching how to achieve balance, understanding & respect between species. Horses and other animals of burden especially whom we literally owe our very exsistence, should have our respect and care as our upmost importance. For they have carried us throughout the world, exploring new lands, dying for us in battle, carrying our children, plowing our fields so we could have food to survive and so much more with giving up their freedom to serve humans with little if any resistance. Many have endured terrible lifes of hardship at the hands of man. To be used and absued and thrown away when they are worn out and no longer needed like a barrel of trash. If we would only let the horses and all animals be our teachers to help us re-connect to the animal within us and nature so we can once again live as God and Nature intended, then and only then will we find true balance and hamony with all. It is to the Horses and their spirits that I dedicate my website and my life's work, for we owe them so very, very much.

Diane's Traits
Diane is able to access a horse and owners needs through detailed observation, history and evaluation of the horse and owner together and separately then applying the most effective training and or re-schooling methods for "The Welfare of The Horse". When she feels it is needed Diane will incorporate Animal Acupressure, intuititve communication, Anaflora Flower Essences for emotional issues that can lead to physical problems, Reiki and educating the owner on horse psychology. She works towards the goals and objectives of the horse owner and puts great emphasis on the owner becoming part of the learning process of the horse so the three together can meet those goals and objectives with total understanding and clear communication between the horse, the owner and herself.

Experience
Diane has worked over the last 20 years with many different ages and breeds of horses. She has worked with babies, foals, fillies, colts, yearlings, mares, geldings, and extensive work with stallions. Just some of the breeds she has worked with include: mustangs, morgans, drafts, welsh ponies, saddlebreds, arabians, andalusians, appaloosas, quarterhorses, throughbreds, POA (ponies of america) peruvian paso fineos, rocky mountain spotted horse and kiger mustangs through childhood experiences, volunteering at rescues, clients and school.
Diane trains and reschools and rehabilitates horses of all ages some with unsafe and inappropriate behavior issues and teaches owners how to understand and work with their horses through learning the horses own language, giving clear aids and communication, teaching and riding through feel, establishing themselves as herd leader and allowing the horse to learn at their own level and timeline of comprehension.

I love working with horses and all animals. Working for their welfare is my hearts passion. When I can bridge the gap of communication between horses & owners, I help people to see the world through the eyes of the horse and how we fit into their world.
I am aspiring to become a Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling instructor. I admire this man's work and hold his teachings of the horse to the highest standards. A good teacher continues to learn through out their life and learning from Klaus Ferdinand Hempfling is helping me become an even better teacher and educator so I can help the horses through his incredible and unique way of becoming one with the horse.
